The A.C. Conductivity of the Chalcogenide Glass Ge_40-X Sb_X Se_60

Abstract
|
|
|
The chalcogenide glass Ge_32 Se_8 Se_60, Ge_22 Sb_18 Se_60 bulk samples were prepared by the melt and quenching method.
The A.C conductivity of each sample was investigated at the frequency range from 50KHz to 10MHz and the temperature range from 125˚K upto room temperature.
The exponents of the A.C Conductivity(σ_ac=Aω^s) changes from 0.82 to 0.88 depending on the composition ratio at room temperature.
At the law temperature(125˚K) the exponent s changed from 1.12 to 1.18 by the composition ratio.
After annealing the value of exponent s decreased to 0.80―0.86 at room temperature and decreased to 1.10―1.17 at law temperature(125˚K).
